Position:
- Director General MIRAD
As the Director General MIRAD, you will spearhead the implementation of key initiatives for the development of competitive electricity markets and oversee operations within MIRAD. Your responsibilities will include managing power purchase contracts, legal and regulatory affairs, billing and settlement with market operators, demand forecasting, and transmission planning. You’ll be the bridge between IESCO and the Competitive Trading and Bilateral Contract Market.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Accounting, or Law from a reputable HEC-recognized university. A master’s degree will be advantageous.
- Minimum 15 years of experience, including 10 years in the Power Sector.
- Strong knowledge of technical, commercial, and financial aspects of the utility business, regulatory affairs, and competitive electricity markets.
Age Limit: Up to 55 years at the time of application.
Nature of Employment:
Contractual for an initial period of three years, extendable based on performance and organizational needs.
Pay and Allowance:
