Position Overview:
1. Chief Surveyor, Nautical (Pay Scale-MP-II DG-P&S)
- Required Qualifications:
- Valid Certificate of Competency as Master of Foreign Going Ships.
- Minimum 3 years in command of foreign ships (2 years for B.Sc. graduates in Maritime Studies).
- At least 1 year experience as Nautical Surveyor or 3 years in recognized Classification Society/Surveyor role.
- OR 3 years’ experience as Nautical Examiner of Master and Mates in Marine Academy/College/University of Australia, Singapore, or United Kingdom.
- Age Limit: Maximum 62 years.
2. Deputy Chief Nautical Surveyor (Pay Scale- MP-III DG-P&S)
- Required Qualifications:
- Valid Certificate of Competency as Master of Foreign Going Ships.
- Minimum 2 years in command of ships (1 year for B.Sc. graduates in Maritime Studies).
- Preferably a surveyor in recognized Classification Society/Surveyor role.
- OR 2 years’ experience as Nautical Examiner of Master and Mates in Marine Academy/College/University of Australia, Singapore, or United Kingdom.
- Age Limit: Maximum 62 years.
